Afterglow depicts a sky with a broken color mix of soft and warm hues in shades of pink, yellow, blue and violet. This creates an ethereal and dreamy effect that contrasts beautifully with the sage gray valley below. A small stream runs through the valley, meandering towards the horizon and providing a sense of movement and life to the otherwise still scene. This painting captures the calm and serenity of the countryside with its soft color palette and gentle subject matter.
